arosa
family haven
Our last leg of the journey before we headed back to Zurich to get a PCR test. The Arosa resort connects with Lenzerheide so you get essentially 2 mountains in the one pass with over 200km of ski piste. Personally, I was pretty wrecked at this stage, so 2 days was enough for me.
Snow here was actually quite good and the runs around Arosa were really fun and quite effortless. The runs were very, very, very open and connected with one another. It’s well known to be a family resort and this is quite clear. There are a lot of beginner and intermediate runs and plenty of areas to toboggan and sled.
My personal favourite run was run 12 (black diamond) but this run isn’t for the faint hearted!
As I was pretty tired by the leg of the trip, I was in bed quite early most nights. We did however stumble across Güterschuppen Arosa for dinner and I can strongly recommend coming here. The restaurant had a very cosy ambience and a great place to come after skiing, for a drink or for dinner.

Quality place to come for dinner. So good that I came here for 2 of my 3 dinners…
Great ambience at night as well as it is quite dimly lit. Has that laid back, relaxing feeling with the couches and the open fire pit. Perfect place to come before heading home and calling it a night.
